In the Style of The Who ~ Curt Mitchell Page Three

Who Marque postersI wish they were chord charts rather than numbers stacked on a tab staff so I'll enlarge the Dang font!. They put the chord letter over the top for you. And there are also two ways to look at each riff.

The first way is standard: you see him full on and maybe already have the riff tab open separately so you can refer to it. He plays and you watch wishing he was closer.

Then he plays it slower and a bit closer but doesn't really break it down either theoretically or string wise. For example he doesn't tell you what key you are in assuming some knowledge on your part.

The second way to watch the guitar lesson is you pick a riff number to practice, select that sukka and then while looking at the Tab the guitar riff passage is played as you do.

Thus giving you a chance to voice the fingerings indicated. Yes! Lots of bar chords and basic rock and roll made easy! If you are a Pete Townsend fan then you know!

There may be more high brow methods out there and then again who cares since  these riffs taught here are mostly ROCK riffs. Evocative historic guitar riffs it behooves us to know. Seriously play the last half of Live at Leeds and see for your selves. Use your Gibson SG.
